This series of editorial images appeared in the November issue of Fashion London Magazine to coincide with the release of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond film.
We used the whole Bond film series as inspiration, focusing on the female co-stars’ clothing, spanning back from the 1960s to now – each image focusing on a different Bond girl.
The shoot took place on a cold, rainy London day near St. Paul’s Cathedral and on the Millennium Bridge, using the famous River Thames as a backdrop.
Our spots were packed with tourists and we had a lot working against us – changing outfits on location and doing hair and make up in a local pub. The pub’s owner saw the shoot taking place and kindly offered us refuge, to which we were eternally grateful!
It was a long day and pushed us all to our limits – which I always love, as you then grow as an artist. I have fond memories of the day and a great editorial story to show for it. I’m so happy with how the images turned out.
